Berghaus campaign fosters spirit of adventure

Created in the style of the ‘choose your own adventure’ books, the film allows viewers to make crucial decisions throughout the course of the journey to the Alaskan mountain.
The video mimics the real life expedition of Berghaus athlete Julia Pickering, a skier who summited Mount Bear and who has a cameo part in the video alongside British rockclimber Leo Houlding.
Caroline Smith, Berghaus' head of marketing for the UK and Europe, said: “Now that we have started to establish the Live for Adventure campaign, it is crucial to maintain and build its momentum. Berghaus is making a major investment to do this, keeping the outdoors and adventure firmly on the public radar and generating more interest in performance products. I am confident that it will drive more people into specialist outdoor retailers to seek out our products and equip themselves for their own adventures.”
The campaign, which also features TV, cinema and print advertisements, will go live in October.
