Autefa announces expansion

German textile machinery manufacturer Autefa Solutions has said it expand its operations in Europe and open a facility in China.

It will open a new assembly building at its headquarters in Friedberg, in Bavaria, for its products, which include bale presses, wool processing machines and automation equipment. A second location in Linz in Austria will focus on needle looms and related components; and the company also hopes to expand its facility in Biella in Italy, which focuses on fibre preparation technology.

A new facility in China will produce machines specifically for the Chinese market.
