Helly Hansen puts its own anti-slip technology into new boots

03/10/2012
Norwegian outdoor brand Helly Hansen has launched a range of snow-inspired fashion boots for the coming winter season.

The new range includes the Iskoras, slip-on, mid-cut boot featuring full grain leather uppers, faux-fur lining and outer decorations, plus a patterned textile band above the ankle inspired, the brand has said, by “Norway’s rich sunsets and green forests”. The boot has a rugged outsole made from proprietary technology called Helly Grip for non-slip protection.

Another component of the collection is the Skuld 3 lace-up boot. It has an upper made from premium waterproof leather and faux-fur in the lining for warmth. The Skuld’s rubber outsole also uses Helly Grip technology, while an EVA midsole provides additional cushioning for comfort.

Finally, the Solli Tall Boot is a leather boot manufactured using a welted construction for breathability; it uses Helly Grip technology too.
