Yoshida & Co, a Japan-based bag company, has adopted Invista’s Cordura brand fabric for its new line of bags to add durability.

“With the use of Cordura brand fabric, Yoshida & Co is able to choose from a wide variety of fabrics to create their fashion forward, style driven bags, without sacrificing durability,” said Cindy McNaull, Cordura brand and marketing director.

Yoshida’s shoulder tote bag is designed for casual use and can be worn over the shoulders during cycling. The bag features cushioned pockets to hold tablet devices or laptops, additional multifunctional pockets, hip straps and a cushioned back panel. It has excellent strength-to weight performance and is designed for exceptional color fade, friction and water resistance.

Other bags in the range include a PC case made of ripstop Cordura fabric, making the bag light and friction resistant, and a carry pouch constructed of Cordura Classic fabric.
