Growth for ASICS Europe

ASICS Europe achieved 8% growth in sales in the first half of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.

The brand said its running apparel category had performed particularly well, with a sales increase of 22%. Running footwear achieved growth of almost 10%. The brand also recorded double-digit revenue increases in footwear for its core performance sports such as tennis, volleyball, handball and court sports.

Sales in ASICS’s own retail outlets increased by nearly 60%.
