Peak Performance chooses ThermoCool for latest range

Swedish skiwear company Peak Performance has launched a range of padded products, including jackets and pants, that are made of two-layer Gore-Tex Pro fabric to keep the weather outside while maintaining a warm and dry microclimate inside.

Designed to optimise the body's natural thermoregulation capabilities, the range features Advansa ThermoCool technology, which uses smart fibre cross-sections to provide moisture and temperature control.

"Simply put, when you're hot and sweaty, the fibres breathe and transport moisture to cool you down. When you're cold, the fibres trap heat but let moisture out so you stay warm and dry," explains Advansa's Silvia Toledo.

Staffan Thomasson, senior designer at Peak Performance, added: "Our Heli line is all about continuity on a very high level. Improved technical solutions in fresh, new colours should add further comfort and fun to the consumers' ski experience."
