Ex-adidas executive to take up the reins at Tretorn

The company, which makes outerwear, outdoor footwear, riding boots, tennis balls and other products, has said Markus Wonko will take up the position from January 1.
Based at the Tretorn headquarters in Helsingborg, Markus Wonko will be to help Tretorn become a world-class outdoor brand, expanding the business internationally with further investment in product development and design.
He joins Tretorn after 11 years at Adidas Group, most recently as a member of the Reebok Asia-Pacific management team, based in Hong Kong. Prior to this, he managed the adidas sport-lifestyle business in Asia, and before that, the Nordic market, where he was responsible for overall business development and integrated go-to-market processes.
Tretorn is owned by Puma, part of the PPR Group. The company has not yet made clear what effect the new appointment will have on its existing senior management structure under managing director, Ulf Gustafsson.
