Textile bodies combine to share UV information

The website is the work of the International Test Association for Applied Protection against UV Radiation, a joint project to which a number of international textile bodies have contributed, pooling their knowledge of the subject and making a combination of their resources available to help apparel manufacturers and consumers.
In addition to general information about sun protection, the site provides an overview of the different methods for determining the UV protection factor (UPF) of textiles, and displays a list of products that have been tested in accordance with UV standard 801.
