Two companies team up to help textile teams match up on colours

Sewing thread, embroidery yarn and technical textile manufacturer American & Efird (A&E) is partnering with Color Solutions International (CSI), a division of dyeing solutions provider DyStar, to offer clothing brands and retailers a new technical solution called Color Wall SEAM LINK.

This proprietary technology quickly recommends matches between A&E thread colours and CSI colour standards to help development, design, creative and technical teams share accurate information on colours early in the design process to save time and increase accuracy.

“The new partnership with A&E is a great example of textile supply chain partners working together to create a service for brands and retailers that dramatically improves colour consistency from design to garment, increases colour matching speed, and delivers the highest ecology standards,” said Ron Pedemonte, DyStar textile services global manager.
