Textile-sector focused Oeko-Tex introduced Standard 1000 in 2010 to build on the more established Standard 100. The organisation said at the time that Standard 1000 would lead to “continuous improvement in a company’s performance with regard to environmental management, quality control, safety management and social responsibility”.
The award means to Textilintrycket can present its production facility in Bora°s as one that meets internationally recognised requirements for environmentally friendly and socially responsible conditions.
Textilintrycket was founded in 2005 with a focus on producing transfer prints and heat transfer presses for use on textile materials. It also makes special textile printing films and matching cutting plotters and offers a range of contract services in the areas of transfer printing, embroidery and textile embossing.
Its pigment prints are primarily used for athletic and functional garments, workwear as well as in the area of corporate wear and promotion wear. Patrik Larsson, the company’s owner, believes transfers, when used correctly, offer the best results for printing on textiles, resulting in washable prints with good colour on any material.
