Pakistan imposes anti-dumping duty on polyester fibre from China

02/01/2013
Pakistan has announced it will impose anti-dumping duty of up to almost 9% on imports from China of polyester staple fibre (PSF). The measures will stay in place until April 20, 2013.

Media in Pakistan have reported that the country’s National Tariff Commission took the action following complaints from the domestic textile industry in June 2012. The measures will be in place, provisionally, for four months and will affect imports from a limited number of Chinese suppliers only.
