New ‘ecosensitive’ ranges from Otter

US-based apparel brand The Otter Company is to launch a range of golf and outerwear styles featuring ecosensitive fabrics – cottons, wools and man-made fabrics – at the PGA Merchandise Show at the end of the month.

Designed to extend playing sessions and seasons shortened by poor weather, the new collection includes six ranges featuring ‘action-aimed performance design’ technology and materials sourced from recycled materials.

Martin Stebbins, the company’s president, said: “We’ve demonstrated that weather repellent sportswear doesn’t require sacrificing performance, function or fit – now we also offer the style that women golfers expect.”

The golf show will take place in Orlando, Florida, from January 24 to 26.
