EOCA off to a flying start in 2013

The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) has reported a strong start to 2013 with six new members and one trade association signing up to give support to its programme of conservation projects.

Dynafit, Fjällräven, Odlo, Osprey, Industrial Revolution Inc. and Stanley have all joined up to be members of the association, and Germany’s Fachgruppe Outdoor has become EOCA’s second trade partner, following a similar move by the Italian Outdoor Group towards the end of 2012.

This brings to 91 the number of members and partners working with the Swiss-based non-profit organisation to raise money for projects around the world.

John Jansen, president of EOCA and head of outdoor footwear brand Keen in Europe, said on making the announcement: “We are delighted to see so many organisations signing up to be part of the association. The outdoor industry can achieve so much more by working together, and every new member means more money for conservation.”
