Kit supplier to walk away from Bolivian champions

However, a local sports clothing manufacturer, which has been The Strongest’s kit supplier for years, has complained about other sports brands receiving greater prominence in victory parades and photographs and has announced it will not continue to supply Bolivian clubs.
Gav Sport has been supplying kit to professional football clubs in Bolivia since 1996. Since then, it has celebrated eight titles with the clubs it supplies, six of them with The Strongest.
Owner, Jaime Díaz has told local media that he noticed players from the club appearing in shirts and track suits supplied by other brands during the celebrations for the second of the three consecutive titles. He complained and pointed out to the club that he was entitled to take legal action, but said he did not want to go that far. But he said the situation had gone too far and that Gav Sport would take a step back from Bolivian football for the time being.
