Danish underwear brand to launch Cristiano Ronaldo collection

Real Madrid and Portugal attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has agreed a deal to work on new underwear and sock collections with Danish company JBS Textile Group.

JBS said on announcing the development that there would be two distinct ranges, one for children and the other for young men. Chief executive, Michael Alstrup, said that his company wanted to give fans in both age groups the chance to wear the products designed by their hero.

The company added that the deal will not be a one-off, but that Cristiano Ronaldo will design new collections each year, following fashion trends.

Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki has a similar deal with JBS.
