Special debate on sustainable fashion at Premiere Vision

The exhibition will play host to a debate on sustainable fashion, taking as its starting point a book published in Italy last year called The Beautiful and the Good, which includes a series of essays from prominent commentators on the fashion industry in Italy.
Fashion critic and director of the fashion design program at the IUAV University in Venice, Maria Luisa Frisa, and economist and professor of design at the University of Milan Polytechnic, Marco Ricchetti, co-edited the book and will take part in the debate. Other speakers will include Peter Ackroyd from the International Wool Secretariat, Fabrizio Conconi, the general manager of Eurojersey, and Philippe Pasquet, chief executive of Premie`re Vision.
WSA magazine’s technical editor, Sophie Bramel, will moderate the discussion, which will take place on February 12 at 14.30, in room 611 on the mezzanine level of Hall 6 at the Villepinte exhibition centre in Paris, the venue for Premie`re Vision.
