New coating solutions from Tanatex

Innovations will include a new generation of DMP blocked aliphatic polyisocyanates. These products are completely free of catalysts, formaldehyde and co-solvents, Tanatex has said.
Based on this technology, a new product called Acrafix PCI will perform as an excellent crosslinker and adhesion promoter, the Dutch company added, while another product, Baygard FBI will perform to a high level as a booster. “Baygard improves the properties and permanency of fluorocarbon finishes on all types of substrates,” Tanatex said in the build up the event in Nurenberg, “and it improves the film forming properties of the fluorocarbon.”
A series of products especially designed for coating of synthetic outdoor fabrics will also be on display. Tanacoat OMP can be applied as soft basecoat and Tanacoat MTO as medium hard topcoat. The end products show high light-fastness and UV resistance, the manufacturer said.”
