Lululemon commits to Europe with board appointment

Robert Bensoussan's company, Sirius Equity, has in the past four years invested in UK-based shoe retailer LK Bennett, Italian sportswear company Jeckerson Spa and feelunique.com, one of Europe's largest online beauty retailers. He is non-executive chairman of all three.
Chip Wilson, chairman of Lululemon’s board, said: "We're unrolling our mat in some exciting new international markets over the next few years and Robert's extensive experience and perspective will prove valuable to Lululemon as we expand globally." His appointment brings the board to 11.
From 2001 to 2007, Mr Bensoussan was on the board of high-end shoe company Jimmy Choo. He is also on the boards of perfume company Interparfums, men's retailer Celio International and electric car rental company Zen Cars.
