Accreditation for SGS laboratories in China

Inspection and verification service SGS has announced that its network of laboratories in China for testing textiles and footwear has won the recognition of an extensive list of international bodies.

The organisation has laboratories in eight Chinese cities: Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Qingdao, Changzhou, Nanjing and Xiamen. These facilities have been accredited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), and the China National Accreditation Services for Conformity Assessment (CNAS).

In addition, the laboratories also are capable of meeting Deutsche Akkreditierungsstelle GmbH (DAkkS), United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accreditations as well as providing services that are required for EU REACH, US CPSIA, US California Protocol 65, Canada Regulations and JIS for the Japanese market.
