VF appoints drinks company executive to its board

Branded lifestyle apparel and footwear group VF Corporation has appointed the chief executive of spirits company Beam Inc, Matthew Shattock, as a director.

VF chief executive, Eric Wiseman, said on announcing the appointment that he believed Mr Shattock’s experience in building and growing brands would help VF’s international development.
