Arvind looks forward to stretch-denim launch

Indian denim manufacturer Arvind is preparing to launch a new stretch denim fabric containing Lycra fibre at an event called Lycra Rendezvous, which the maker of Lycra, polymer and fibre group Invista, will host in New Delhi on February 28.

Arvind chief executive, Aamir Akhtar, said in the build-up to the event that, working with Invista, his company had been able to develop stretch-denim that “provides freedom to the designer”.
