Terox says ‘Made in the USA’ was the right decision

15/02/2013
Sandal brand Terox has announced that it will extend its range to include clog-style leisure shoes and canvas beach footwear.

Founded in Idaho by Rocco Azzarito and Terry Stillman, the company launched in the summer of 2012. It made a commitment to make its products, starting with a flip-flop with an anatomical foot-bed, in the US. It set up its own factory in Buford, Georgia.

At the start of 2013, Terox said more than 400 independent footwear stores were stocking its product and said it felt making the shoes in the US was something that was resonating with retailers and with consumers. In addition, it said the strategy was helping it have a low carbon footprint and be more just-in-time in its deliver model.

The new Terox styles are scheduled to hit the market in the spring of 2014.
