US-based cycling apparel brand Voler has appointed a new head of product development to “raise the bar on technical design”.

Cammy Harris has experience developing technical clothing for a number of leading outdoor companies including Mountain Hardwear, Sierra Designs and The North Face.

Jim Helser, vice-president of Voler, said: “Creating apparel that is both comfortable for the casual rider and meets the brutal demands of our professional clients is our passionate focus. Cammy shares this goal and her experience translates perfectly to our product lines. We are thrilled to have her join our team and raise the bar on technical design.”

Voler manufacturers cycling apparel from original designs for the casual rider to custom apparel for organisations and teams.

Ms Harris said: “The fact that Voler designs and manufactures its products in one location in California means the time it takes to put a great idea into our customers’ hands is unlike any I've experienced before.”
