Eco focus for new Chinese fibre hall at Yarn Expo

Beijing-based Yarn Expo Spring 2013 is adding a Chinese fibre hall to its exhibition space.

The hall will be split into themed zones, with a “green, recyclable and low-carbon” fibres being the main focus. The New Generation of Polyester Fibres zone will display “cotton-like polyester”, which can be used in a wide range of applications.

Apart from these new elements, Hall 3 will feature a collection of cotton, linen, wool and the latest products from around 200 Chinese and overseas exhibitors.

The expo is taking place in a new venue, the National Agriculture Exhibition Centre, from 27 to 29 March.

The fair is organised by Messe Frankfurt , the Sub-Council of Textile Industry, CCPIT, China Cotton Textile Association, China Wool Textile Association, China Chemical Fibres Association, China Bast & Leaf Fibres Textiles Association and China Textile Information Centre.
