Columbia Sportswear has launched a new series of shirts aimed especially at fishing enthusiasts. The shirts, the Airgill series, feature proprietary technology for thermo-regulation, Omni-Freeze Zero, which works by reacting with perspiration to lower the temperature of the polyester fabric.

Airgill shirts also have UPF 50 sun-shielding capabilities, built in using another proprietary technology Omni-Shade.

Additional features include hidden venting at the shoulder blades, an extended collar that folds up to afford extra protection from the sun, a secure pocket with a zipper, a rod holder and even a special patch of fabric to clean sunglasses.
