Sports brand Quiksilver has announced the appointments of Tom Hartge, who spent almost three decades at Nike before moving to a role at Patagonia in 2009, as global head of footwear, and Kasey Mazzone, formerly of Lands’ End, as global head of supply chain.

These additions to the team are part of a larger senior management reorganisation, which includes Pierre Agnes, president of Quiksilver Europe, assuming the additional role of global head of apparel. The company is also in the process of recruiting a new chief marketing officer.

“We are centralising key functions and responsibilities to strengthen our brands, grow sales and drive operational efficiencies,” said chief executive, Andy Mooney, on making the announcements.
