US-based insulation manufacturer Climashield has entered the diving market through a collaboration with Polish manufacturer No Gravity.

Climashield’s APEX has been used in the design for thermal suits and overalls due to its warmth, durability and ability to dry quickly.

The No Gravity team uses the latest technologies and materials to create products that satisfy the demanding needs of the diving community. Even when used under extreme temperatures and pressure, Climashield insulation allows for flexibility in movement and remains comfortable under the water.

Rafal Chomont, owner of No Gravity, said: “Every employee at No Gravity is a diver and every product reflects our passion for the sport and our dedication to exploration. Each component goes through rigorous testing to ensure it increases the safety and comfort of dives.”

Climashield uses AquaBan technology to ensure the insulation maintains warmth, even in wet conditions, without impeding the removal of moisture from the body.

Matt Schrantz, chief operating officer at Climashield, said: “Climashield is proud to partner with a company that shares our company’s performance philosophy – thoroughly testing all gear in the field to ensure that the claims made on paper live up to real life scenarios. Our insulation is engineered for explorers and adventurers like the designers at No Gravity and provides warmth that lasts, even in the depths of the ocean.”
