After feedback from users, textile industry technology provider Lectra has “overhauled” its processes with the launch of Lectra Fashion PLM V3R2, which it says will help teams work “collaboratively and efficiently”.

Daniel Harari, Lectra CEO, said: “In a complex and changing fashion environment, team alignment is critical to supporting business growth strategies such as adding new product lines or brands, expanding into new geographies or adding sourcing options such as near-shoring.”

One of the most critical functions is to find information in a fast and visual way. Anastasia Charbin, fashion marketing director at Lectra, said: “We have overhauled this process so that a search for a single product reference, groups of similar products, similar fabrications or an entire product line is possible with different ways to refine results. Managers and users can design and save their own search criteria and view information as it is useful to them.”

Lectra has enhanced access options so that different teams can update information in different ways. Waiting time is decreased while the quality of information is improved, thus speeding decision-making and time to market, according to the company.
