Brookes Brothers chooses technology by TEXbase

US-based apparel brand Brooks Brothers has partnered with TEXbase, a specialist software-based collaboration platform that enables companies to communicate more easily with one another.

TEXbase uses a web-based system that integrates into product management lifecycle systems and allows companies to unify disparate sources of data. The system allows Brooks Brothers to collaborate with garment makers, mills and labs for standardised testing protocols, quality testing and compliance. Patagonia, WL Gore and Under Armour also use TEXbase technology.

“With the increasingly complex demands of product safety and regulatory bodies in our home and international markets, we needed a solution that could manage all of our product testing, compliance and aspects of our fabric development,” said Joe Dixon, senior vice-president of sourcing at Brooks Brothers. “We wanted to spread this workload across our overseas offices and our New York head office and being web based, TEXbase was an ideal vehicle.”
