Record number of exhibitors for Performance Days

Performance Days will celebrate its tenth edition in May. The organisers of the trade fair for functional fabrics have said more exhibitors than ever, 91, have booked up to attend the event, which will take place in the MTC exhibition centre in Munich on May 15 and 16.

Exhibitors from 12 European and five Asian countries. The list includes well known companies like Carvico, YKK, Advansa, Pertex, Amaterrace, Eurojersey, Ho Yu Textile, M.AR.C, Pontetorto, PrimaLoft and Schoeller, with some new names like DyStar, Artex, Asiatic Fiber, Frizza, Heliotextil, Serates, Seripress, Sportwear Argentona, Termoformati Italy and Thygesen & Birk.

Major functional trends will be on display in the Performance Forum area, and it is here that winners of the Performance Awards will put their innovations on show.

Visitors will also be able to attend lectures covering four lead topics: fabrics, trends, technologies and sustainability. we again offer the popular and informative lecture series. Technical editor of WSA magazine, Sophie Bramel, will moderate a panel discussion on social responsibility in the textile industry with guests that will include representatives of Oeko-Tex and TexSture.

Visitors can also access large amounts of information virtually because the virtual trade show at www.365performancedays.eu is growing in popularity among exhibitors and visitors. Around 90% of exhibitors at Performance Days have signed up to participate in the virtual show, entering their latest products and information online four weeks from the start of the Munich event and accessible for up to six months thereafter. Even the fabrics in the Performance Forum will be visible again here, including the data sheets, well after the trade fair has ended.
