X-Static manufacturer makes silver-based fabric acquisition

Bacterial management solutions provider Noble Biomaterials, the manufacturer of X-Static silver fibre technology, has acquired Carolina Silver, a manufacturer of silver-based fabric, yarn and fibre.

Based in Maiden, North Carolina, Carolina Silver has been offering customers anti-bacterial and conductive technology solutions since 2003.

“Carolina Silver has been a leader within the silver textile solutions industry,” said Jeff Keane, chief executive of Noble Biomaterials. “Its technologies will support the growth of the X-Static brand in preventing infections, healing wounds and eliminating odour.”
