Maglificio Ripa and Nilit produce “new generation” sportswear fabrics

Fabrics made from a polyamide microfibre turn heat from the wearer’s body into infrared rays thanks to a metallic additive in the fibre. This gives the fabric, according to Nilit and Maglificio Ripa, functionality that can enhance the elasticity and firmness of the skin, helping to heal blemishes and enhance beauty as well as imparting wellness.
Maglificio Ripa managing director, Luca Bianco, said on announcing the development that the claims were supported by test results. He added: “This is a project we strongly believe in. We are investing in it for the future because we know that now more than ever if you stand still you are lost. We must give our customers highly innovative products.”
