Italian machinery firms adapt to changing demands

Thirteen will be there as part of Meeting Point Italia, an exhibition space set up by the Italian Trade Promotion Agency, and ACIMIT, the Association of Italian Textile Machinery Manufacturers.
The technical textile sector has seen double-figure growth rates for the last few years, according to ACIMIT, and the innovation “represents the thread that unites textile companies with technology providers”.
Sandro Salmoiraghi, ACIMIT president, said: “Versatility and a capacity to rapidly adapt to the market’s changing needs have always been a hallmark of Italian technology.”
Techtextil will take place from June 11 to 13.
