Poron plays its part in new insole package

Maker of Poron cushioning materials, Rogers Corporation, has partnered with Stanbee, a maker of non-woven insole boards, to develop a ready-to-incorporate insole package for work and duty boots that provides high levels of comfort, breathability, moisture- and heat-management, and antimicrobial protection.

The insole package uses Poron ReSource Urethane Cushioning and an anti-friction lining as well as Stanbee GI insole material composed of a high-denier polyester non-woven fabric. The fabric is saturated with proprietary resins that enhance strength, durability, and comfort during wear in both dry and wet environments.

Poron ReSource Cushioning is an eco-friendly, open-cell, shock absorbing material made with a natural based polyol that replaces over 45% of the petroleum-based polyol used in earlier versions of the product. It is infused with Microban antimicrobial technology to inhibit the growth of the mould and mildew that can cause stains and odours.
