Invista announces expansion in production capacity of Terate polyols

Polymer and fibre manufacturer Invista has announced additional investment at its Wilmington, North Carolina, manufacturing site to expand its global production capacity of Terate HT polyols. The latest investment is expected to be complete by January 2014.

Invista has said more North American customers are sourcing these products, for applications such as protective rigid foam materials. In addition, with the expanded production capacity, it said it would also make the HT line of high-performing polyols available to global customers.
