ASICS agrees new footwear deal with England Netball

Sports performance brand ASICS has announced an extension to its footwear deal with England Netball that will see the company provide footwear for the senior England Netball Squad, the under-21 squad and coaching staff.

ASICS said it felt the deal would boost its presence in “a strong area of growth”, helped by a recent series win for England over world number-one, Australia, and in the build up to the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

England Netball commercial director, Joanna Adams, commented: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with ASICS as official footwear provider. They are an innovative and well established brand who provides England Netball with excellent support.”

For his part, ASICS managing director for the UK & Ireland, Barry Mellis, said: “The athleticism, fitness and commitment that is consistently displayed by England Netball fits perfectly with our brand ideals.”
