April figures boost Portugual’s textile export performance

Portugal’s textile and apparel sector posted export growth of 10.1% in the month of April, compared to the same month in 2012, lifting the industry’s cumulative figures for the first four months of 2013.

Over the January-April period, Portuguese textile and clothing exporters brought just less than EUR 1.4 billion into the economy, an increase of 1.4% on the same four months in 2012.
