The US Department of Agriculture has said in a recent report that, in spite of lower global cotton production in 2013-2014, stocks around the world are on the increase.
It said it expexts stocks of 92.7 million bales globally in 2013-2014, which it calculated would be enough to make more than 112 billion T-shirts.
