Management revamp at Miroglio

Italian textile and apparel group Miroglio has launched a “fundamental renewal of its governance” and has moved current CEO and grandson of the founder, Giuseppe Miroglio, to the role of chairman.

Taking over from him after the shareholders’ meeting at the end of July will be Daniel Wintelers, who has left his position as CEO of SAGAT, the company that manages Turin airport. His previous roles have included general manager and CEO of Ifil, and chairman and CEO of the Alpitour group.

Elena Miroglio, who has been a manager within the group for some years, will take the position of deputy chairman, supervising strategies and supporting the group's offering, image and distribution.

The management changes are aimed at “advancing globalisation and restoring full profitability”, said the company.
