DyStar keeps Cradle to Cradle “positive list” private

The aim of the Cradle to Cradle design concept is to improve the quality of products, including shoes and clothes, by making sure they pose no health risk at any stage of their lifecycle and are of both economic and ecological benefit.
DyStar began working with EPEA in 2002 because it wanted to apply aspects of the Cradle to Cradle concept to some of its products. It has submitted product data for a number of its chemicals and EPEA has now told the company which products have made it onto the “positive list”.
However, DyStar said on announcing this at the start of July that the information regarding which products are on the list is “project related, and not publicly available”.
