Toray launches new superlight windshell fabric

Japanese fibre and textile manufacturer Toray has developed a new series of superlight windshell fabric for launch at industry events this summer.

Its Waterproof Windshell fabric will, the company has claimed, combine the lightness and breathability of a windshell with the waterproofing of a hardshell.

The 2.5 layer fabric weighs 70 grammes per square-metre.
