New Aqua range of fastenings from YKK

YKK has developed, Aqua, a new range of fastening products aimed specifically at meeting “the challenges of water”.

Different products in the range have different levels of ability to meet these challenges, ranging from just a water repellent look, a zipper with a PU film but no technical function. YKK has explained that it believes these products will be in demand because of an increase in the cross-over between fashion and sportswear styles.

At the other end of the range, there are products that the company refers to as waterproof and watertight items for high-end applications, including survival suits.
