Chinese garment exports up in first six months of 2013

Official data from the Chinese government show the value of exports of yarn, fabric and finished garments in the first half of 2013 to have increased by 10.1% compared to the same period in 2012.
Garment exports alone had a value of $76.1 billion in the six-month period, up by 13.4%.
