New LL Bean baselayers in merino-Primaloft combination

Lightweight and with a soft hand, the garments are made from a combination of 20% merino wool, 20% Primaloft and 60% generic polyester. They should come onto the market this autumn.
On speaking about the mix of yarns in the fabric LL Bean has chosen to use for the new baselayer garments, Primaloft vice-president, Joe Rumiesz, said: “Like our insulation product, our yarn has a lovely handfeel to it. I think this LL Bean baselaye is going to be a good piece.”
