German sportswear group adidas has reported revenues down 4% to €3.38 billion in the second quarter, which it said was due to high prior-year comparisons related to the UEFA Euro football tournament and the London 2012 Olympic Games.
Increased sales in China and Latin America helped to offset the decline in Europe.
Its previously-struggling brand Reebok saw sales rise 11%, after being repositioned to focus on gymwear.
