Ashworth Golf has expanded its range of Cardiff golf shoes with the a spikeless version, the Cardiff ADC, which one of its key sponsored players, Justin Rose, wore for the first time to compete at The Open Championship at Muirfield, Scotland, in July.

For the first time in the brand’s 26-year history, it will also make available a women’s version of the shoe.

Ashworth said the shoe had been designed to deliver enhanced comfort, functionality and the performance of a traditional golf shoe “with the revamped styling and versatility of a casual shoe”. It features a leather upper and a polyurethane sockliner on a PU midsole.

Justin Rose said after The Open that he liked the look and feel of the shoe. “This new version takes comfort to another level, plus I can wear them both on and off the course,” he said.
