Baofu Yang, vice-president of China National Cotton Exchange (CNCE), will present at the International Cotton Association’s (ICA) next trade event, ‘Liverpool 2013’, which takes place in October.

Having recently signed up for ICA membership, CNCE shares a memorandum of understanding with the association. “This type of collaboration fits perfectly with the theme of this year’s event - ‘stronger together’,” said ICA president Ahmed Elbosaty. “Liverpool 2013 will focus on how the supply chain can expect more positive results if it sticks together.”

Mr Yang said: “I will cover a series of topics, including the status and existing problems of imported cotton in China, the Imported Cotton Online Supermarket System and the plan for building up a comprehensive service platform for imported cotton. I will also be introducing CNCE’s newly comprehensive service platform for imported cotton.”
