New hat styles and new fabrics for Tilley

Canadian outdoor brand Tilley presented new styles and new textiles for its hats at the recent Outdoor Retailer Summer Market exhibition in Salt Lake City.

Handcrafted in Canada, each hat has the maximum rating for protection against ultraviolet radiation from the sun, 50+, and comes with a lifetime guarantee and cover against loss or theft for two years.

One new style is the women’s Mash-Up hat, which has a visor for broad protection at the front and sides and a smaller brim at the back. It comes with a tonal hatband and wooden buckle.

The new ‘Two-Tone” hat combines hemp, organic cotton and recycled polyester in a broad brim design. The face of the fabric is white while the underside is black with black grommets, black binding and a hatband for contrast.

Organic cotton and hemp are also in the fabric mix for the new Tilley Orbit hat. It has natural colour with mocha binding. The company says the fabric will soften over time, giving it a well-loved feel and appearance.
