DAK Americas to increase polyester staple fibre prices

Mexican-owned DAK Americas has announced that it will increase the price of all its polyester staple fibre products by $0.03 per pound ($0.07 per kilo) effective September 1, 2013.

“This increase is necessary due to the significant upward pressure on global raw material costs,” the company said. “DAK is committed to the polyester staple fibres business and will continue to supply quality products, services and innovation to its customers.”
