REI announces new chief executive

Mr Stritzke most recently served as president and chief operating officer of leathergoods brand Coach
He said at the time of the announcement that he felt REI was “an iconic brand and respected employer”. He added that the role would give him a great opportunity to combine his professional expertise with outdoor activities that he said he enjoys in his spare time.
He will take up his new post on October 1.
